Job Posting – Media Producer – Eclipse Recording Studios

Eclipse Studios is a full-service recording studio and duplication facility located in St Augustine, Florida. We provide first class tracking, mixing, editing, mastering, duplication, audio transfers, album cover design and more. At Eclipse Studios, we have carefully designed a facility to the exacting standards necessary for professional recording of voice and music. All work takes place at the studio and in or around Northeast Florida.

Eclipse Studios is seeking a motivated full time media producer looking for a permanent career with Eclipse Recording to join their team. The media producer will serve in the roll of Producer for recording projects, providing the creative guidance as well performing on a variety of instruments, for our clients.  The media producer will be well versed and experienced in the use of recording systems, video, editing software, and the studio environment. The media producer must be proficient and have prior work experience utilizing the software systems Pro Tools and Logic Pro. The media producer will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production of musical recordings, selecting music, helping compose music, and directing the artists by utilizing live sound engineering, conversion of media formats, editing and mastering audio recordings.

In addition to the job responsibilities above, the ideal candidate must meet the following job requirements. The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree related to music or media, either in production or composition, and must have several years work experience related to same. The ideal candidate should be fluent in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate must be well versed in Microsoft Outlook, email, and all social media platforms. The ideal candidate must be personable and able to manage and coordinate all aspects of the recording process with a client, including assisting the client with issues regarding the music itself and coordinate and oversee the entire production process. The ideal candidate must be able to recruit new clients and oversee and manage other employees on the team.

Starting salary begins at $45,000.00 per year, but could be higher, as compensation is commensurate with experience.
